Choose Your Path: General or data analytics
The MS in Engineering Management program at CSUN offers two specialized options to tailor your education to your career goals.
Both degree options provide students with comprehensive technical management skills and the ability to step easily into roles that require expertise with digitization and data.
The general degree option provides students with the expertise needed to master project management in technical firms.
The general option includes dynamic courses on:
- Decision-making in engineering projects
- Leadership training and technical skills
- Contemporary topics in engineering management including sustainability, entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, and operations management.
The general option curriculum teaches students the advanced study of data analytics within supply chain and quality management with a decreased emphasis on programming.
The data analytics degree option provides students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of data analysis and programming, equipping you with the skills needed to manage teams that increasingly depend on data across industries, including manufacturing, preventive maintenance, quality engineering, and designing supply chain systems.
Our data analytics option includes customized courses on:
- Data analytics for management
