CSUN’s EIM program is ideal if you desire a high-level career in the entertainment industry. Designed in collaboration with industry experts, this program is uniquely positioned to equip you with the skills, knowledge and expertise to excel in this dynamic and ever-evolving industry.
Our program goes beyond the traditional classroom, enabling you to:
...- Identify successful content, capitalize on potential ideas, and spot emerging global trends.
- Develop, pitch and launch highly lucrative entertainment projects.
- Create and use budgets, financial statements and controls, and various financing tools.
- Understand and apply media contracts, intellectual property laws, and industry regulations.
- Leverage data-driven insights to make strategic decisions in the entertainment business.
- Master production pipelines, including virtual production and animation/VFX.
In addition to an industry internship, the curriculum includes lectures, classroom activities, online modules, simulations and a capstone project.

Between January 2019 to May 2020, there were 393,256 unique job postings requiring a master’s or bachelor’s degree. Employment in the sector is projected to grow 5% from 2018 to 2028.
